The Female Rottweiler Pup

We are all aware that dogs have 2 sexes that are a boy (dog) and a girl (bitch). Nature is very clear on this and unless the animals themselves form a very strong and clear knowingness of what sex they are their survival is in peril. Not so this day and age when nature can be over written by humans in some cases. Therefore a very weak male puppy would be adopted by someone that would raise him protectively and the dog would never have to prove himself worthy of mating.
If this type of dog is mated it has a detriment to the whole breed as it may pass on some non desirable genes. In effect possibly weakening that breed. So I would not suggest breeding from cowardly or weak male dogs for the sake of the breed. This brings me to the female Rottweiler puppy. They have it easier than the males but there are alpha females as there are alpha males.
The alpha female Rottweiler puppy makes itself visible early in the litter by usually bullying the other pups but also showing dominance in areas of eating, play and play protection. Any female Rottweiler puppy can make a great family protector as well but would need an informed, strong willed owner. At some point, around two years of age the female Rottweiler puppy will try and become boss of the family. This must be discouraged and nipped in the bud in no short manner by the owner.
My alpha female has a tendency to demand feeding and back chatting when told to move if she does not want to. That is as far as she will push the point as she does know her place. Well, we keep telling ourselves that. But as a protector she is the first to smell a strange smell, to hear a sound, a car, footsteps or any noise for that matter even if it is several kilometres away…. Probably the best security alarm a home could have. Saves on insurance as well.
I have found the female Rottweiler puppy to be a fast learner and with such a great desire to please. She will learn fast and loves to play, fetch and show off. Our girl will play a game of running past you at a great speed over and over again. She will also play hide and seek. It is easy to understand they take to strict training so readily because they love it and have a long attention span.
If I could have a preference I would sway towards a female Rottweiler puppy but the male pup certainly has some strong points that the females are missing.
